About Caribbean Riders
Corporation
Founded in
2006, our company Caribbean Riders Corporation is based in South
Florida. Both the main office and warehouse are located in
Miami-Dade County, FL.
Our Corporate
or Business Mission is to be the “Premier provider of
commercial products for the Recreation and Hospitality
industries”. We are also an environmental or
“Green” friendly
conscious company. Our products are all human or electric
(battery) powered.
We have set a
series of goals in order to become the “Premier provider of
products” for the Recreation and Hospitality industries. These
goals are, to have the Wisdom to listen to the
customer’s needs, the Vision to be the leader in
producing enhancements to existing products, or be able to
introduce innovations that result in better products that meet
or exceeds the market expectations in functionality, quality and
Cost. As a technical oriented company our final
goal is to partner with companies that offer products that
complement our portfolio (area of expertise). Currently we are
authorized dealer of Pelican International and agents for
Quiver kayaks.
The final
comment on innovative products is that our organization from
time to time will offer for sale field trials or prototype
products. These are units that we consider still on development
and no suitable for commercial use however, they are fine for
normal family use. On these products we do offer an additional 1
year warranty on parts and labor and reduced prices.
Our quest to
achieve the company mission started with the introduction last
year (2007) of two Four Wheel bicycles (Surrey’s, if you prefer
that name better). Those two products featured significant
design changes when compared to the traditional Surreys in the
Market at the time. Starting with our wheel covered rear fenders
(protected design), stainless steel children basket, powdered
coated painted main frame (with trusses), high density molded
seats, adjustable seat and back rest (during assembly), arched
top canopy frame to reduce water accumulation, etc.
In this year’s
models (2008). We have included into our designs the
introduction of new metals and processes (aluminum, zinc coated)
used in the front and rear fenders and the standardization of
parts (there is only one type of bolt, nut for all structural
fastening). The material changes have made our products easier
to pedal (load reduction) and the standardization of parts have
simplified the assembly. Since our knowledge base is in
technology we feel we don’t need to advertise brands or process
on our products in order to get additional sales. We have chosen
the old fashion way to “earned”
As we move
forward, we promise our current and future customers to always
deliver the best value in all our products. After all we do
understand the importance of getting the most value for your
financial investment. If you, the customer does not get a
reasonable ROI we both lose.
We also want
reinforce that our business is wholesale only. We
don’t believe in running franchises, rental operations or
selling retail. There are people more qualified than us that can
excel at it, you our customer or a future
customer.
